Instructional Team Camp
Integrating Fundamental Skills, Team Concepts, and Competitive Play
Our goal for everyone to work hard and feel good about themselves in a safe, disciplined highly structured and motivated environment of learning and fun. We place the child and his or her personal development ahead of the game. Positive encouragement and measured improvement in fundamental skills are trademarks of our program, as well as players learning to work together in a team setting. We use a mastery orientation of teaching, which celebrates effort as much as achievement. The focus is on personal development, learning and improving. Our teaching progression takes in account age and skill differences.
FORMAT: Instructional Basketball League
WHO: Grades 3rd,4th,5th COED; Grades 6th,7th,8th BOYS/GIRLS
WHEN: May 22 – July 1st- (6 week session)
- 3rd,4th,5th Grade- Wednesdays 4pm-6pm
- 6th,7th,8th Grade- Fridays 4pm-6pm
2 hour sessions:
- 30 minute Skills Instruction
- 30 minute Team Concepts
- 1 hour Team Competition/Game Situations
WHERE: Nebraska Elite; located at 1212 N. 102nd Street, Omaha, NE
COST:
- Enroll as a team; $120/player
- Enroll as an individual; $150
Fall Session: Tues. & Thurs. Oct. 20th- Dec 17th
